At our Leading Online School, our leadership team share over 50 years of headship and teaching experience at outstanding UK independent and overseas international schools.

Our online school teachers are qualified, experienced experts in their field, who all share a passion for learning and teaching in a digital world.

Our teachers are carefully handpicked by our educational leadership team and are recruited according to the UK standards of safer recruitment in education. This means they all have updated police checks (Enhanced DBS), professional references and verified teaching qualifications including QTS. All our team receive the latest Department for Education required safeguarding training.

Our Approach

Our leading online school focuses on providing an exceptional online education, offering the UK National Curriculum for England, for students from age 4 - 14. We are the only UK based online school which offers full time online learning for students from as young as Reception - Year 9.

We are the first online school to partner with Fieldwork Education to offer both the International Primary and Middle Years Curriculums. Our interactive online lessons are delivered in real-time, in small groups of no more than 6 students, for the core subjects of English, Maths and Science.

Our partnership with Google enables us to utilise the leading Google for Education Suite of tools including Google Classroom, JamBoard, Google Meet for Education and many more. These tools transform how our educators and students learn, work and innovate at Sophia High School.

We are the only UK based online school which offers full time online learning for students from as young as Early Years to Year 9.  Our IGCSE Year 10 Program starts in September 2023

As a Google for Education ‘Anywhere School’ we offer both the International Primary and Middle Years Curriculums. Our interactive online lessons are delivered in real-time, in small groups of no more than 6 students, for the core subjects of English, Maths and Science, using the Google for Education Anywhere School Platform.
