Council of International School
In November 2021, Sophia High underwent an extensive evaluation process conducted by the Council of International Schools (CIS).
The CIS provides accreditation to schools worldwide that offer international education and meet high standards of quality and ethics.
The multi-day review examined all aspects of our programs, policies, operations, and compliance. We were pleased to successfully achieve CIS candidacy as an accredited online school.
CIS accreditation demonstrates Sophia High’s commitment to operational excellence and continual improvement as a dynamic 21st century learning organisation.
DfE Online Education Accreditation Scheme
Sophia High will participate in the new voluntary DfE Online Education Accreditation Scheme. This rigorous inspection conducted by the UK Department for Education focuses specifically on virtual schooling.
The review assesses factors like curriculum quality, student progress, safeguarding policies, leadership, fiscal management, and overall school effectiveness.
We view this upcoming evaluation as an opportunity to obtain valuable external feedback and identify areas for growth.
