At Sophia High School, our online primary program engages and inspires young learners between the ages of 4-11. We follow a creative, theme-based curriculum modeled on the best of British education standards.

Our primary school welcomes young learners from Reception to Year 6 by offering a nurturing and inclusive community that supports students at every age and stage of their educational journey. Rooted in the foundations of a liberal arts education, the curriculum fosters a mindset of inquiry and equips students with a toolkit for both academic success and overall wellbeing, thus setting the foundation they need to meet the demands of a rapidly-changing world.

Child-Centred Approach

Our small class sizes and dedicated teachers provide individualised attention. The curriculum is designed to excite curiosity and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Students collaborate on projects, solve problems, and learn by doing. Our hands-on methodology makes lessons interactive and meaningful.

We encourage students to pursue their passions through “Signature Learning” time. This allows them to incubate their own ideas and develop real-world skills.

Globally Minded Curriculum

Sophia High teaches the full UK National Curriculum framework across core subjects. We enhance this with the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) to provide a globally conscious education.

The IPC develops knowledge and empathy about the wider world. With units integrated across subjects, the curriculum mirrors real life.

Community Focused

Our tight-knit community of students, teachers, and parents is united by a shared spirit of adventure. We validate diverse perspectives and make learning visible. We understand that building relationships is one of the most important elements for academic success within the primary years. Our classroom can be accessed 24/7 via Google Classroom, digital notebooks track the progress of your child’s learning journey, all lessons are recorded and made available, and parents and children are invited to a 1:1 meeting with your class teacher each week.

A range of wellbeing and PE focused activities including the Junior Duke, and leadership opportunities allow students to pursue their interests and develop talents. Group experiences teach collaboration.
