At Sophia High School, students ages 14-16 can earn IGCSE qualifications through our flexible online program in the Senior School in Year 10 and Year 11. Our online GCSE classes can be taken from anywhere in the world with students entered as private examination candidates with examination boards.

Comprehensive Curriculum
Following Pearson EdExcel International GCSEs, students complete five core subjects:
- English Language
- English Literature
- Mathematics
- Combined Science (2 GCSEs) or Triple Science (3 GCSEs)
They can also select from a range of electives like History, Geography, Languages, Global Citizenship, Computer Science and more. This builds a well-rounded academic portfolio. Students have daily online lessons in groups of no more than 10 students plus additional weekly tutorials.

Our GL Assessments integration provides benchmarking and predictive data to target instruction and support. Students are empowered to achieve their potential. All students entering Year 10 take part in the GL CAT4 assessment which provides predictors for GCSE success across the subjects on offer and these reports form the basis on individualised learning pathways for students.
Through ongoing assessments, mock exams, and exam technique coaching, we ensure students are fully prepared to excel in their GCSE exams. Exams are administered at certified global centres such as the British Council or our Partner British Schools.
