I am originally from Italy and moved to London in 2023. For the past four years, I have specialised in Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) and online teaching. Before becoming a full-time teacher, my life revolved around rugby! I used to play semi-professionally back in Italy and spent years coaching U14, U16, and U18 teams. One of my proudest moments was coaching my Under-18 team all the way to winning a national championship!
I stumbled into the world of teaching when I first moved to the UK, and I fell in love with it instantly. My teaching philosophy is simple: I truly believe that every single student has the potential to achieve greatness, and nothing makes me happier than working together to help them reach their goals. Because of my sports background, I also have a unique passion for figuring out how to transport Physical Education (PE) concepts into the online classroom, making sure our virtual lessons are just as active, fun, and dynamic as being out on the field.
When I am not teaching, you can usually find me doing one of three things: reading, watching sports, or cooking! I am a massive fantasy book fan and love getting lost in epic adventures. I am also a self-confessed sports addict—especially when it comes to rugby and ice hockey—though I will watch absolutely any sport if Italy is playing! Finally, being Italian, I have a deep love for food, so I spend a lot of my free time in the kitchen cooking up delicious meals and baking.
