Nicole Pelletier

Nicole is Sophia’s Director of Inclusive teaching and Alternative Provision.

Nicole has taught (Ks3-5) in an inner city London comprehensive school for over 22 years. She is an overseas trained teacher and gained her Bachelor of Arts Degree and her Bachelor of Education degree from northern Ontario, Canada and her Masters of Arts of Education Degree from the Institute of Education of London, England. She also has extensive experience leading and managing departments in Humanities, Sociology and Inclusion. Nicole has also achieved the Post Graduate Certificate NASENCO Award and was previously a SENCO for nearly 4 years. Both of her children have additional needs and attend both state and special schools. Nicole is passionate about inclusion and believes her first hand knowledge both in and out of the classroom serves to ensure that every student deserves a first class education by championing inclusion.

Nicole has also achieved her Dfe Early Careers Mentor Status and is currently working on an National Professional Qualification in Leading Teacher Development.
