Girls Online Education

For UNICEF Employees

Starting in January 2024

Sophia High School is delighted to announce our Humanitarian Funding programme for UNICEF Employees wishing to enrol their daughters in our Accredited Online School programme. Registrations are now open in advance of the start of the Academic Year in January 2024.  
 
The bursary funding of $200,000 USD has been generously provided by the Founders at Sophia High School and humanitarian fund raised via their investor network.
Bursaries will be awarded as a percentage of the £4500 per year school fees based on income level, with an aim to provide greater support to lower income families.
It is our hope that by providing funding to dedicated local UNICEF staff, we are also investing in the future of Afghanistan. When girls are educated, communities prosper.
 
Online Learning is most effective when students have access to a PC/Laptop/Chromebook and also the internet connection will be required for the lessons
In order to be inclusive and ensure equality for all our UNICEF families, it would be useful for us to understand more about your salary as a UNICEF employee, to allow us to allocate Bursaries accordingly. This information will remain confidential between your family and Sophia High School.
